ST. LOUIS - Craig Berube, the only head coach to ever lead the St. Louis Blues to a Stanley Cup title, is out as head coach after six seasons. The Blues officially relieved Berube of his head coaching duties on Tuesday after a 13-14-1 start to the 2023-24 campaign, coming off a rare season without a playoff bid. Drew Bannister has stepped in as the interim head coach. Berube, speaking to FOX 2 just days after his departure, says he wasn't surprised by the decision. "A little bit of the writing's on the wall," said Berube in a phone call with FOX 2 Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne. "I knew there could be a change for sure. When you're getting hired, you could be fired when things don't go well." Community rallies to rebuild vandalized holiday display in House Springs

HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Northwest Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce said they've been overwhelmed by community support after a vandal destroyed a holiday display in a preservation area earlier this week. Neighbors, businesses, and paramedics lined up Friday to offer Christmas donations."This is the least we could do to show him that we appreciate his work," said Phil Diven. He said the Big River Ambulance District decided to give back to a man in House Springs after FOX 2 aired a story about a Christmas display being vandalized overnight Wednesday. "It was heartbreaking to see. The reintroduction of wolves in Colorado this month will proceed as planned after a federal judge on Friday denied ranchers’ request to stop the state’s efforts to allow for further environmental analysis.U.S. District Judge Regina Rodriguez denied a request by the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association and Gunnison County Stockgrowers’ Association to halt the reintroduction of the controversial canines, finding it “contrary to the public’s interest in seeing gray wolves released in Colorado.”Voters approved the reintroduction in 2020, and wolves could be on the ground in Colorado as early as Monday.The request for the delay was filed as part of a federal lawsuit the two ranching groups filed Monday against Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Two people injured in LA freeway shooting

Two people were injured in a freeway shooting on Friday morning in Los Angeles. According to a California Highway Patrol news release, at approximately 10:59 a.m., a freeway shooting occurred on Interstate 15 northbound, north of Kenwood Avenue. The victim who was driving a white Lexus reported that he was driving northbound on Interstate 15 in the right lane when an unknown suspect driving a lifted Black Ram Pickup truck drove up to the left side of his vehicle and fired one round.Both the driver and passenger were struck by the gunshot and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There are no further details at this time. 3 suspects arrested for theft from multiple stores in San Bernardino and L.A. Counties
