NEWTON, Mass. (AP) — A couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary were stabbed to death, along with another family member, in what law enforcement officials said was probably a random attack.The bodies were found in a home in Newton when the couple failed to arrive at church Sunday morning, police said. Police worry that the killer or killers may be still at large, and residents in nearby neighborhoods were urged to remain vigilant.“Two of the individuals were celebrating a golden wedding anniversary this weekend. As you can imagine, this would be tragic on any day. Amazon wants small businesses to help make deliveries in rural areas and big cities

Many small businesses have long relied on Amazon’s platform and delivery pipeline to boost their business. Now, Amazon wants to enlist them to help with deliveries, too.The e-commerce giant on Monday officially launched a program it has been piloting since 2020 that pays small business owners to deliver packages during the “last mile” of delivery to customers’ doorsteps. Ante el riesgo que supone para la salud la exposición a las tuberías de plomo, DC Water anunció que puede costear de forma parcial o completa la sustitución de estos conductos. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KDVR) -- The suspect in a mass shooting that killed five people and wounded 17 at Club Q in Colorado Springs in November pleaded guilty to several charges Monday.Anderson Lee Aldrich, 23, pleaded guilty to five counts of first-degree murder, 46 counts of first-degree attempted murder and no contest to two charges of bias-motivated crimes.They were sentenced to five life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murder charges, as well as an additional 2208 years for attempted murder.In court, Aldrich said they are pleading guilty because of the high likelihood that they will be found guilty if it went to trial.Victims were notified of the possible plea deal beforehand, per Colorado law.A press conference with the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s (DA) Office is set to follow the hearing on Monday.

3 injured after ziplining collision in Castle Rock

Man dies after being rescued from City Park Lake

DENVER (KDVR) -- A man was pronounced dead after police say he was recovered from City Park Lake Sunday.Around 9 p.m., the Denver Police Department got a call reporting a person in the City Park Lake, according to a tweet from DPD. Suspect in Club Q shooting pleads guilty Denver Fire Department Water Rescue responded and recovered the man from the water, police said. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Police said it "appears to be a non-criminal death investigation" and the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will provide the man's name and cause of death.

Real estate analytics firm Point2Homes released a report focusing on starter home costs in the nation's 100 largest secondary markets. Secondary markets orbit major markets - in Colorado's case, Denver - and have traditionally been the more affordable location choice for homebuyers.
