A barricade incident in Northglenn unfolded into a police shooting on Friday night, and an investigation is underway.NPD and @ThorntonPolice are working to confirm details in an Officer-Involved shooting. A barricade incident ensued, and a reverse 911 call was made advising area residents to shelter in place.Just before 7 p.m., police tweeted that the shelter-in-place order was lifted and “there is no threat to the community.” About an hour later the department tweeted that a police shooting investigation was underway.

Authorities are pursuing a high-speed vehicle in Los Angeles County on Friday night.The suspect is wanted for an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.The pursuit initially began in South L.A. around 9:15 p.m. The driver was seen traveling without headlights and reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour while dangerously weaving through traffic.The vehicle suddenly slowed down while traveling on the 14 Freeway before fully stopping and pulling over near the Soledad Canyon Road exit in Santa Clarita.Sky5 is overhead.

Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao's car was broken into during film premiere

(KRON) -- Mayor Sheng Thao's car was broken into Thursday night in Oakland, the mayor confirmed to KRON4. Thao attended Thursday night's premiere of the documentary "Stephen Curry: Underrated" at Grand Lake Theater on Grand Avenue. The Oakland Police Department told KRON4 it is investigating multiple auto burglaries near the theater that night. (AP) — Maria Sanchez scored in the 24th minute to pull the Houston Dash into a 1-1 draw with the Portland Thorns on Friday night.Crystal Dunn scored in the ninth minute to give the Thorns a 1-0 lead.
