San Jose police arrest teen driver in car crash that killed pedestrian SAN JOSE — Police have arrested a teenager who was driving a stolen SUV that struck and killed a man walking in San Jose over the weekend, officers said Monday.The victim of the fatal accident, which occurred in the 1100 block of Winchester Boulevard in San Jose, has yet to be identified.The driver of the stolen vehicle that caused the deadly accident was identified only as a juvenile male.San Jose police officers arrested the driver and transported him to a local hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.The fatal crash occurred on Sunday, Sept. 3 at approximately 3:22 a.m. the San Jose Police Department reported Monday.“A 2019 Hyundai SUV, occupied by a lone juvenile male driver, was traveling northbound on Winchester Boulevard when it left the roadway and struck an adult male pedestrian on the sidewalk,” the police department stated.The vehicle raced northbound on the sidewalk and then smashed into a tree near Walgrove Way, according to ...

Police said they received multiple calls reporting a shooting. Officers investigating the reports located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound or wounds. Their late mother also lived at the home. “It’s a family, two brothers that stay there,” said a neighbor. “Nice family.
