(The Hill) – Billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of X, a social media platform formerly known as Twitter, has shared plans to strip headlines and other text from posts that display a news article’s lead image.The change, first reported Monday by Fortune, would mean that users — from individuals to publishers — would have to manually add their own text to posts and links that they share. Otherwise, the post will only display an image with no context other than an overlay of the URL. A source told the media outlet that Musk was pushing for the latest change, noting how it will help reduce the height of posts, allowing more posts to fit into the portion of the timeline that appears onscreen. CHICAGO — Members of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) brought their voices back to Grant Park as they remain on strike.SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local hosted a rally to try and pressure the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers to negotiate a contract they deem fair. Father of NFL's Caleb Farley killed, 2nd person injured after blast levels cornerback's home

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WJZY) – An explosion overnight leveled a multimillion-dollar home in North Carolina owned by NFL cornerback Caleb Farley, leaving his father dead and another person injured, authorities said.Authorities confirmed with Nexstar's WJZY that the person who was killed has been identified as Robert Matthews Farley, 61, who was staying in the home at the time of the incident. The injured person, a male who was seen leaving the property as the first emergency crews arrived at the scene, was transported to Atrium Health CMC with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Kent Greene, director of Fire Services and Emergency Management for Iredell. The Austin Fire Department said on social media Tuesday shortly after noon its Special Operations crews were working with STAR Flight to recover the body.According to AFD, crews have repelled into heavy brush to access and remove the body. It's not clear how the body was discovered or how the person died, but KXAN has reached out to the Austin Police Department for details and will update this story when a response is received. Godsmack is headed to Cool Insuring Arena and "Lighting Up the Sky."The group comes to Glens Falls on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Celebrating the release of their eighth album, the Grammy-nominated band is traveling with Michigan-based metal band I Prevail. The Glens Falls show is the final stop on Godsmack's tour, starting in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, on Sept. 3.
